MADhurst COMMUNITY IMPACT

MADhurst brings joy, creativity and real benefits to the Midhurst community, not just in August but all year round. At its heart, MADhurst is about celebrating local talent and connecting people through music, arts and drama. But beyond the fun and festivities, the festival has a deeper impact. It’s a volunteer-run, not-for-profit initiative that has raised thousands of pounds over the years for local good causes.

These funds have supported a range of community activities and projects, helping to make Midhurst a livelier, more inclusive place to live. Whether it’s enabling children's art competitions, supporting youth workshops, or contributing to local facilities, the money raised goes straight back into the community.

The festival also benefits local businesses by drawing footfall into town, showcasing art in shop windows and encouraging visitors to explore and spend locally. Artists, performers and creatives are given a stage, sometimes quite literally, to display their work, often launching new opportunities for them.

MADhurst wouldn’t be possible without its dedicated volunteers, supportive sponsors and the generous Midhurst spirit. It’s more than a festival, it’s a community celebration with a purpose and every ticket sold helps keep that community thriving.
